Busy week the summer school which went well
Howdy! Off to Texas for a month to work on songwriting so to all my current students, make sure you practise! Especially those of you that are entering the singing competition as soon as i'm back.
Also anyone interested in singing lessons with me, someone is taking over scheduling in lessons for when i am back so feel free to still enquire, ask any questions you may have or book lessons.

Judged the Regional Final for Star Sensations today, well done for all the acts who got through to the National Finals including my students Somer and Courtney for their dance performances.
Open Mic UK 2011, the National Music Competition for singers and vocal groups to showcase at The O2.
Good luck to Maddie who is going to be performing at the Bournemouth festival, at just 9 years old she has already performed the part of Cosette in the fabulous musical 'Les Miserable' on tour amongst many other shows locally, she has a bright future ahead of her!

Learn to Sing
I teach children of school age wanting to audition to enter a stage production or to enhance their singing abilty.
I also teach adults who are looking for a music career or who just want to sing as a hobby or interest.
I am CRB registered, fully insured and a member of the musicians union.
You can learn to sing a wide variety of styles including: Pop, Rock, RnB and Musical Theatre, Blues, Country, Soul and Easy Listening.
Lessons are provided in a fully equipped Music Studio providing an enjoyable, fun and relaxed environment.
Students can learn to sing and are encouraged, if they wish, to enter ABRSM Exams.

Music Exams - Theatre Exams
- The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music have Graded music exams:
- Grades 1 - 8 - Which cover practical and theory tests to internationally benchmarked standards.
- Students can also take the Rockschool exams:
- Grades 1 - 8 - 'The UK's only dedicated rock and pop exams board' for students who prefer the more contemporary style of music.
- As from January 2011 I will be offering the opportunity to work towards LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) theatre exams in singing:
- LAMDA examinations are for those students who wish to take their training in musical theatre further.
- LAMDA exams are highly regarded and nationally recognised qualification at all levels and higher level LAMDA examinations can be used to obtain UCAS points for university entry.
- Entries from ages 7+ to adults.
