Bournemouth's Got Talent' was a massive success and the hall was nearly packed to full capacity!
All my students despite their nerves put on great performances and everyone worked great as a team to make it all happen!
Thank you for everyone involved for making it a great night and it's a really good performing experience for all my students who will now be having performance analysis lessons to see what they can improve for next time!
Clips of the live show will be shown on the website in a few weeks time...... watch this space!!

New BBC show 'The Voice'
New BBC show 'The Voice' auditions are beginning, with Jesse J as one of the judges confirmed.
Please get in touch if you need any help with choosing repetoire, learn audition techniques or to wow the judges as I have helped students in the past get through to bootcamp stages on the X Factor.

Well done to my student singer/songwriter John Llewellyn aka JFL for getting into the finals of Talentcall, live heats of Open Mic UK so far, doing gigs in London and a gig for Music in the City in Southampton and performing on BBC Radio Solent!
He's also busy recording his tracks in the studio. Keep it up!

Busy week the summer school which went well
Howdy!
Off to Texas for a month to work on songwriting so to all my current students, make sure you practise! Especially those of you that are entering the singing competition as soon as i'm back.
Also anyone interested in singing lessons with me, someone is taking over scheduling in lessons for when i am back so feel free to still enquire, ask any questions you may have or book lessons.
I will update you with news on Texas once i'm back!

Bournemouth Festival

LAMDA Theatre Exams
As from January 2011 I will be offering the opportunity to work towards LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) theatre exams in singing.
LAMDA examinations are for those students who wish to take their training in musical theatre further.
LAMDA exams are highly regarded and nationally recognised qualification at all levels and higher level LAMDA examinations can be used to obtain UCAS points for university entry.
Entries from ages 7+ to adults.

UK's Largest Singing Competition
Judging the Open Mic UK area final at Portsmouth Guildhall on Saturday, 27th November 2010, the UK's largest singing competition.
Open Mic UK is the biggest live music competition in the UK for singers and solo artists. The competition is organised by Live Unsigned, and holds auditions across the whole of the UK.
Thousands of musical acts enter every year for the chance to perform live in front of some of the country's top Producers, Label Executives, Promoters and DJs.
